The interactive map and table below give data on Alabama obstetric services, with Alabama's 67 counties as service areas. The following terms are used in the map and table:
- CBSA: Core Based Statistical Area
- Type: Urban-rural classification used by the Alabama Rural Health Association
- Communities: The number of communities in the county with at least one hospital providing obstetric services or at least on ob-gyn physician
- Hospitals: The number of hospitals providing obstetric services in the county
- Physicians: The number of ob-gyn physicians in the county
- Ratio: The ratio of ob-gyn physicians per 10,000 women aged 15–44
- ACOG: Classification based on the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
