A community is further classified as urban if it falls within one of Alabama's fourteen different urbanized areas, or rural otherwise.

The table below displays data for Alabama communities. An applicant can search on a proposed practice community to see if the community is ARMSA eligible. (Recall however that other restrictions apply; see the home page for more information.) If a proposed community is not included in the table, please search for the incorporated community that is closest to the proposed practice community.
